I Am Thinking Of A Breast Lift Surgery, Is It A Simple Harmless Procedure??

I am on my early thirties. Good Health. Average breast size. But...having 2 children has not been friendly to my breasts they gotten saggy. I want to feel better about wearing a bathing suit, tank tops, lingerie, etc. Do risks outweigh benefits? Is it a simple harmless procedure?

This is a "simple" surgery, but please consider that ANY invasive has the potential of risks. Discuss with your surgeon what the options are, and remember that most women - as they age - develop larger breasts (probably until age 55 or so). Breast lift surgery, or mastopexy, is popular amongst women who have sagging breasts through pregnancy, weight loss, or simply thorough gravity and natural aging. The surgery involves raising and reshaping sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning remaining tissue and the nipples. Implants are often used to help create a move attractive appearence. The plastic surgery is carried out under a general anesthetic and usually takes between 1-2 hours. Incisions will be made around the nipple and both above / below each breast. Implants are then inserted, incisions will be stitched and excess blood will be drained. After breast lift surgery you will usually be able to leave the hospital after a day or two.You will be required to take at least two weeks off work and strenuous activity must be avoided for six weeks.

Best of health!
