What Is The Buttock Augmentation Recovery Process?

I am planning to have buttock augmentation any time this year, but I want to know how long the recovery process is?

Recovery from buttock augmentation surgery can take as little as a few weeks, depending on the method. The first involves liposuction (removal of fat tissues) from other parts of your body and subsequent reinjection into the buttocks to create a different curve. This procedure has the added benefit of allowing you to get liposuction to other areas of the body where you want to remove fat. It is not a good option for very thin people with little body fat. Recovery is faster if your own fat was used; implants take a bit longer to heal due to the increased surgical procedure. It is designed to provide a newly improved shape that is complementary to the rest of your body. One note: just after the procedure, the buttocks will swell somewhat and then subside. Thus, most patients think all the transferred fat has gone away but actually, it was the swelling that went down. That’s why it requires three months before you can get a final resolution on how much fat actually remains. The second option involves buttock implants. After the procedure, you must wear a body garment for 6-8 weeks to reduce swelling and support proper position for the first few weeks after surgery. During this time it is not advisable to return to work. You can go back to work after 10-14 days. Normal activities can usually resume within a few weeks.

Buttock augmentation is becoming more popular and more widely practiced, but there are less surgeons who do this routinely than who do breast augmentation. I highly advice to look for a good plastic surgeons that have a good background on performing buttock augmention, and oh don't forget that this procedure can be very costly.
